A/N: This is Modern Boys! I finally got off my lazy ass and posted it on DA. Its on Fiction Press. Give me some advise on how to write better. Do not correct my spelling I already know it sucks… This story is yaoi which means male/male relations. If you do not like it please don’t ready.

_|Four Years Ago|_

No one… I have no one...

Tears ran down the boys face as he thought these words, watching the guys slow dance with girls. He sat alone though, at a small round table covered with confetti. His hazel eyes where full of desire and despair as he watched the others dance. All through middle school… no all threw his life… he had suffered the role of being the an outcast… the one that was always booked in the halls and tripped in gym. The one was always called some same. It was normal to him, but then why had he expected it to be different, now? Why had he come here in the first place? He gritted his teeth watching a couple dance slowly, his eyes flicked from the boy stroking the small of the girls back and then to the girl who was leaning against his chest. At that moment he nearly broke down into tears. Instead of crying he shoved a chocolate kiss in his mouth and sucked on it lightly sighing in his misery.

“This seat taken?” A deep slightly, accented voice asked. The hazel eyed boy looked, raising an eyebrow. His eyes fell on a dark haired boy with slightly spiked hair that was just to the side. The boy moved his own hair out of his face, reveling his strange silver like eyes that resembled those of an animal. He was grinning slightly as he stared down at the white haired boy.

“Huh?”

“This seat taken?” he asked again, smoothly.

The hazel eyed boy blinked, moving his own, whitish hair out of his face and adjusting his no rimmed glasses.

“Um, uh…” He stammered. “No, no…”

The dark haired boy grinned and sat down, he was in a nice suit, a pure white suite with a checkered tye. His smooth face seemed slightly sweaty…. Probably from dancing. The white haired boy though dully. Once again the dark haired boy moved his long black locks out of his sweaty face and grinned at the other. The hazel eyed boy shifted uncomfortably under the others scrutiny.

“So…. So your not from around here?” he said, trying to break the awkward silence.

“No, not from America. From Japan. Moved away six months ago” He continued to smirk at the hazel eyed boy.

“Really, Japan?” He said, his soft voice, barely notable over the booming music. “I’m a little Japanese too.” The other boy laughed.

“Don’t look it, look black.” He said eyeing the others skin.

For the first time sense he had been to the dance, the hazel eyed boy cracked a small smile.

“I didn’t say I was all Japanese, did I?” The other boy nodded flashing his teeth.

“Name?”

“Oh, my name is Minako. My friends called me Bunny though…” He flinched suddenly. He just said ‘friends’ and he waited for a bitting commet, expecting the young Japanese boy to snort as say ‘What friends? You have none.’ However, the dark haired boy just stared at him, grinning slightly.

“Ken. Saw you threw out the year, but never bothered to meet ya’” He said beforeing coughing softly and fixing his silver eyes on a couple dancing fasters, because of the change of music.

“You were dancing?” he asked hesitantly. “With girls?”

“Yeah, I was.” The Japanese boy snorted. “I am hot, what you except?”

Minako raised an eyebrow at the other male. Isn’t shy or modest I see. He thought idly. But I have to admit the guy is pretty… well…um….

“Ken? What are doing over here?”

The voice brought Minako out of his thoughts seeing a pretty blond girl with a very reveling red dress on. Behind her seemed to be her friends who where cling onto their boyfriends as if they were life supports. Ken looked up at the blond, smirking still.

“Resting, babe” He said softly, eyes roving around her body. “Resting.”

“Oh…” She twirled her hair around, green eyes looking from Minako to Ken. “Are you done, honey? I like this song. Can we dance?” Ken licked his lips and got up slowly he wrapped his arms around the girls waist and lead her to the dance floor. Minako sighed and leaned against his chair and grabbed another chocolate kiss. He was about to put it in his mouth until he Japanese boy, Ken turned around smirking, his silver eyes sliding down his body. Minako blushed deeply, mouthing wordlessly as the other boy opened his mouth.

“Bye” he said simply before turning to the blond girl and disappearing into the crowed of people.

Minako stared, his mouth slightly open as the music changed.

“Bye…” he mumbled softly, grabbing his white hair and twirling it nervously.
Well, finally Modern Boys... I rated it Mature because later there may be sexy parts... maybe... I got to get creative though. The story is on Fiction Press but I also wanna put it here to.

Really interesting
Love the mystery behind Ken
love how descriptive it is
though it would be a bit less of a hassle to spread some of that description out, rather than keep it in one paragraph
and their actions are a little obvious, by this i mean using variety in words [idk if that's right the right way to put it XD] ...though it's good that you help the reader visualize.
As for the story itself, it has a really nice flow to it. Smooth and easy to follow.
The dialogue is my favorite part, btw :)

Good job so far, in my opinion
